THOMAS MASON
Thomas Mason was born in Toulouse, France in 1963. His mother Elisse Mason, who was known in their small village for her charcoal drawings and immense gardening skills, raised him. Mason accredits his mother for his love of art and nature.
Thomas was first to become a priest, but strayed from the church when he was accepted to Ecole Regionale des Beaux Arts in Nantes, France. He has said that he was torn by his decision to split with the priesthood but then decided that he best communicated with God through his art.
Throughout his career he has had many group and solo exhibitions, which lead to many accolades and awards. He lives in Paris with his wife of eighteen years and three children.
