CSABA MARKUS
Csaba was born in Budapest a city more than 2,000 years rich in history and abundant in artistic influences. From the reconstructed baroque architecture to the carefully excavated castles his inspiration in painting style quickly came to the fore.
Csaba began his artistic career as a sculptor under the highly acclaimed Hungarian Academic, Ferenc Mohacsi Regos, fashioned to what is now his very unique style of painting. His captivation of Renaissance, Neo Classic and romantic periods dominated his work. Though classically trained, the Avant Garde and abstraction began to make way into Csaba’s paintings.
To date Csaba Markus has participated in over 2,000 US and European Exhibitions and is now an established artist with a solid base of collectors. His artworks are part of many prominent, private collections around the world.
